During the TECNA DC Fly-In on April 28 & April 29, 2025, we're bringing together members of Congress and key federal stakeholders with leaders in the technology community from across North America to discuss policy priorities.
TECNA Members have an opportunity to discuss issues, rules and regulations affecting the tech community, hear from Congressional and committee members, and get an inside-the-beltway perspective on upcoming legislative priorities.

- Trade and the Tech Community: Tariffs and trade agreements directly affect supply chains, cross-border innovation, and market access for tech companies. We’ll explore how trade policy shapes the growth of the tech sector, fosters collaboration, and enhances competitiveness in North America. Join us as we discuss the significance of tariffs and the renegotiation of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) and other important trade policies
- Tax Policy and DOGE Initiatives: Tax policy is a critical driver of investment and innovation. Attendees will gain insights into the latest tax bill and its implications for tech companies, including new provisions under DOGE (Developing Opportunities for Growth and Entrepreneurship) initiatives. We'll discuss how these changes could impact capital allocation, R&D investments, and the scaling of tech startups.
- Tech Policy Updates: This session will provide attendees with actionable insights into how these policies may affect their organizations and the broader tech ecosystem. Congressional staff from relevant committees will provide updates on ongoing and upcoming policy efforts and discuss legislative priorities for tech policy, including artificial intelligence (AI), antitrust regulations, intellectual property (IP) rights, and workforce initiatives.
- Boxed Lunches Provided (12:15PM)
- Optional Hill Visits (1:30-5:00PM) TECNA members are encouraged to arrange visits with their congressional offices to introduce their member companies and discuss policy priorities.
- Each attendee must register, whether a tech council staff member or representative from a member company.
- TECNA Members are encouraged to invite member companies to join and meet with their congressional delegations to introduce their businesses and discuss policy priorities.
- Yes! TECNA can assist with setting up legislative meetings on April 29.
- Requests must be made by March 1, 2025, and all participants must be registered.

- The fee includes room rentals, reception food, staff time, meeting materials, and meals during the meetings.
- Hotel and travel expenses are not included.
